The vast majority of Formula One drivers started their motor racing careers at an early age in karts, including current world champion Jenson Button, 2008 world champion Lewis Hamilton, British Grand Prix and Le Mans winner Johnny Herbert, former F1 World and Indy Car champion Nigel Mansell, seven times Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna, David Coulthard, Juan Pablo Montoya and current F1 stars like Fernando Alonso.
The Sisley Kart Racing School not only enables budding racing drivers to take their first steps towards stardom, but is also open to anyone who wishes to sample the excitement, exhilaration and pure fun of driving a real racing kart. The school caters for all ages, from Bambinos' aged 6-7, cadets aged 8-11, juniors from 12-16 and indeed adults.
The school was formed in 1972 and is the oldest in the U.K. and is MSA approved and uses only licensed ARKS instructors. MSA ARKS tests are arranged for those wanting a kart race licence for MSA owner/driver racing.
Full details of all of our Kart School options can be found on the right.
