Buckmore Park are proud to be able to offer an under 17 road driver training scheme in conjunction with 'Go Driver Training', a professional driving school. This initiative is open to any youngster aged between 10 and 16. (minimum height requirement is 4'-10" [148cm]) and takes place on Buckmore's large tarmac paddock area at weekends and select days during school holidays throughout 2010. The school uses dual control road cars and qualified ADI instructors for every lesson.

Go Driver training

The training is split into 30 minute segments with different levels of instruction.

The first level covers the most basic driving skills such as start/stop/steering and gear changing.

Level two covers hill starts and reversing.

Level three includes mirror use, blind spots and advanced maneuvering.

Each level must be completed before a pupil progresses to the next.
