Buckmore Park pioneered Bambino karting for drivers aged 6-7 yrs. as far back as early 2008 when we started the now famous Bambino School. Since then the school has trained very nearly 500 drivers, launched the highly successful Bambino Club, which has held over forty meetings, and seen the class become a recognised MSA category for those moving up to owner/driver.

Throughout the last two years our Top Kart Bambino karts have served us well, but it is now time to start looking ahead for a new fleet. We have recently been testing the world beating Birel Bambino B25X as a possible replacement. As all of us are too tall to fit the kart the testing has been done by up and coming Bambino star Jean Sammut.

Fitted with a two stroke 5 hp engine, the Birel B25X is a tailor made kart to enable youngsters to learn the basics of driving. With a top speed of 30 mph that can also be restricted lower if required, the Birel B25X kart can give an insight to a possible future F1 star!

The test session went very well and both we and Jean were very impressed with the performance of the Birel Bambino Kart. Whilst we are still testing other karts, the Birel is a strong contender to form the nucleus of our 2011 fleet.
