School's Out For Summer!

July – what a great month it is – the weather is warm, the evenings are light and there is the knowledge that at the end of the month school’s out for summer! At Buckmore we are busy gearing up for the holidays where we will be offering all the usual summer activities and events. Meanwhile, there is plenty going on this month which you will discover if you read on…

School Holidays

As we get closer to the end of term we will publish our full ‘day-by-day’ diary on this very page of the website, so do check back here regularly. We will be offering the following…
Arrive ‘n’ Drive Turn up and go karting opportunities for all ages from 4-16 years

Bambino Karting Karting for young drivers aged 6-7 years. We will be offering Bambino School, Bambino Club and Bambino Practice sessions.

Sisley Kart School The Kart School trains drivers from 8-16 yrs who wish to learn to race karts. From introductory lessons to personalised training, we offer a package to suit you. This is also the key to racing in the Buckmore Junior Club.

Buckmore Junior Club — Rookie and Championship Racing The Junior Club offers close and competitive racing to drivers in two age groups — 8-13 & 11-16 years — to suit the size of the driver. The emphasis is on fun and learning whilst racing for trophies and in the case of the championship, for points towards the title. Rookie racing is drivers in their first year of racing while the Championship series is ideal for more experienced drivers.

Family Day A chance for all the family to have a go at karting. All ages, from 4yrs to 84yrs (possibly!).

Let’s Go Karting — For a Fiver! — 8-16 years

The ‘Let’s Go Karting’ scheme is an MSA Sponsored scheme to give young drivers a low cost way to try out karting. Using our 40mph Junior karts under the supervision of registered ARKS race instructors, children aged between 8-16 years can experience the thrill of driving at up to 40mph. All that for just a fiver too!

Extra Bambino Lesson 1 Sessions Added — 6-7 years

Bambino lessons have regularly been oversubscribed and we are constantly combing the diary for extra spaces. We are delighted to tell you that we have found an extra date (31st July – Lesson 1) and provisionally scheduled another in late August. You can view all currently confirmed dates by clicking below:

Karting & Laser Tag Parties for ages 4-16 — Simplified format makes choosing easier

Children love nothing more than a karting, or Laser Tag party with their friends. We have party options for children of all ages. 4-7’s, 8-11’s and 12-16’s. To make the job of choosing the right party for your group we have simplified the options but still offer all the optional extras you might require to make the party and event they will talk about for years. The ARKS test — the first step towards an MSA Kart Race Licence

If you are looking to enter the exciting world of Owner/Driver racing in MSA Race Meetings you will need a Kart Race Licence. To achieve this you will need to sit the ARKS (Association of Racing Kart Schools) test. This is a half day exam that includes both practical and theory sessions. The next test date is Monday 26th July with another booked for Wednesday 25th August. Find out more here:
