To make it easier for you to find out what’s happening at Buckmore for young drivers over the Half Term Holiday, we present our useful Day by Day Diary. Each activity described has a link to more information. We hope you find it useful.

Saturday 25th May

10am to 4pm -Turn Up ‘n’ Drive on the Kids Mini GP Circuit

Ages 4-11years

The 120m Kids Mini GP Circuit will be open to offer Turn Up ‘n’ Drive opportunities to drivers aged 4-7 years (electric karts as above) or 8-11 years using petrol karts. (sessions alternate). There is no need to book, just Turn up ‘n’ Drive between 10am and 4pm.

8.00am to 10:30am — Bambino Lesson 1 — Kids Mini GP Circuit

Ages 6-7 years

Bambino Lessons one is the first step for new drivers aged 6-7 years. Find out more about Bambino karting by clicking the button:

Sunday 26th May

10am to 4pm -Turn Up ‘n’ Drive on the Kids Mini GP Circuit

Ages 4-11years

The 120m Kids Mini GP Circuit will be open to offer Turn Up ‘n’ Drive opportunities to drivers aged 4-7 years (electric karts as above) or 8-11 years using petrol karts. (sessions alternate). There is no need to book, just Turn up ‘n’ Drive between 10am and 4pm.

Monday 27th May (Bank Holiday)

Today is FAMILY DAY! Fun for all ages,

from 4 -84 years

10am to 5pm — All Circuits — Turn up ‘n’ Drive for all ages

from 4-84 years

Today all three circuits are open for youngsters to simply Turn up ‘n’ Drive.

* 4-7 years — Electric karts on the Kids Mini GP Circuit (120m)

* 8-11 years — 20mph petrol karts on the 300m Club Circuit

* 12-16 years — 40mph petrol karts on the 600m National Circuit**

* over 16 years – 390cc Petrol karts on the 600m National Circuit**

** Run in alternating sessions

Tuesday 28th May

10am to 4pm -Turn Up ‘n’ Drive on the Kids Mini GP Circuit

Ages 4-11years

9am to 1pm – The ARKS Test — The test to obtain a Kart Race Licence

The ARKS test is for drivers of any age who wish to progress to racing their own kart in MSA race meetings. The part practical, part theory test is explained in full by clicking the button below:

1.30pm — Introductory Kart School

for ages 8-16 years

4pm — Cadet Kart School

for ages 8-16 years

Kart School is designed to teach young drivers the techniques required to drive karts well and safely. Kart School is the first step towards racing karts at Buckmore. Get all of the details by clicking the button:

8am to 10.30am — Bambino Lesson 3 — Club Circuit

Ages 6-7 years

11am to 13.30pm — Bambino Practice — Club Circuit

Ages 6-7 years

Bambino Lesson three is for Bambino drivers who have already completed Bambino lessons 1-2. Bambino Practice is for Bambino drivers who have completed lessons 1-3 and now want more track time. Find out more about Bambino karting by clicking the button:

Ages 8-16 years

12.30pm — 5pm — Junior Club Championship Rnd 6 — National Circuit
